Hero Dental Lab was created for dentists by dentists. Clark Brinton DMD, Ryan Smith DDS and Seth Huish DMD are practicing GP dentists with multiple offices focused on implant dentistry. They were tired of trying to find a dental lab that could meet their needs for simple and complex single and full-arch implant cases. Specifically, they were tired of poor communication, lack of familiarity with clinical needs, and restorations that didn’t fit or look right. In 2017, they decided to form their own lab designed to meet the needs of their ten offices. After a lot of trial and error with design and equipment, and finding the right team, they realized their dream of consistently creating beautiful restorations that fit right the first time without the headache. Due to repeated requests from friends and colleagues, they have expanded their lab and now offer services to outside dental offices.
The central mission statement for everything our founders do is creating win-win relationships. We apply this value to everything we do for our own patients, our partner dentists, and now our lab customers. We strive to make sure every dentist we work with is better for having interacted with us. For Hero Dental Lab, that means better value in the total experience for our dental customers than with any other option.
Ryan Smith, Clark Brinton, Garrett Greer, and Seth Huish
Ryan Smith comes from a dental family and actually grew up with a dental lab in his family’s garage. Back in the 90’s, he’d spend time in the evenings and on weekends, helping his dentist father cast crowns, press porcelain and find better ways of doing things. In 2008, Seth & Ryan were finishing up their studies at BYU-Hawaii while discussing plans for building something special in the dental space and always knew that a high-quality lab was a must. But first, they’d have to graduate dental school and learn from the best. While Seth attended OHSU, he spent long hours doing lab work; during this time, he developed a friendship with his classmate Clark and the vision was shared.Since that time, Ryan, Clark and Seth have teamed up as dentists, built 10 practices together, acquired a marketing company and built Hero Dental Lab.Clark oversees most operations in the lab and enjoys sharing his knowledge in lectures and hands-on courses on dental implants. The courses are held at the dedicated Hero Dental Lab CE space in Beaverton, or wherever you might catch him around the country.Garrett brings a unique perspective to our group with his extensive business background. He received his education at the Jon M. Huntsman School of business and has worked managing businesses in the manufacturing, electronics, military and medical fields. He has applied his expertise to the dental lab space to help create a dental lab that leads with innovative solutions. received his education From the four of us: We love what we do, love who we work with, and find satisfaction in a job well done.
